My Story
Before I decided to become a consultant I was a customer for years, I loved Scentsy, the smells, the beauty of the warmers and the quality. I was addicted, and buying lots. So it just made scents (hahaha see what I did there) to join and make money back on a product I was already buying. So in February 2020, I did, I had no intentions to build my business beyond selling to a select few friends and family. I was working fulltime, had 2 kids, a husband, a dog and was busy! I didnn't have time, or know enough people and money wasn't really a concern. I liked my job, I just wanted discounted product.
And then March 2020 came, covid happened and things changed. Nice secure jobs weren't as secure anymore. Businesses were shutting down, people were getting laid off. All of the sudden there was a need for an extra income! And I thought to myself, well I guess I have this opportunity for a business, let's jump in and see how this works!
And OMG am I so happy that I did, not only did selling Scentsy help get me and my family through lean financial times but it also helped me to have a purpose each day and connect with amazing, inspirational mentors. My confidence and self-esteem grew, as I built my business, stepped outside or my comfort zone and tried new things. I've reconnected with old friends and made so many amazing new ones the support and encourage me each day. I've found a passion, something I love doing.
Now things are coming full circle, I have been able to build and grow my own successful business and are helping others to do the same. I've been able to connect my passion of helping to build and support other women into my Scentsy business and it drives me each day.
